Don't touch the drill bit or cable. If it's safe, switch off at the main switch and book an electrician.
Can damaged cable be joined?
Yes, with approved methods, though sometimes a new run is better.
How much is an emergency call-out?
The call-out price is shown when you book. It covers an electrician attending, making the installation safe and finding the fault. Any repair is priced and agreed with you before work starts.
What about old rubber cable?
If insulation has perished, rewiring may be recommended.
Will walls be disturbed?
