What an EICR covers
The inspector checks the consumer unit, circuits, accessories and earthing, and carries out tests on a sample or all circuits as appropriate. Observations are coded C1 (danger present), C2 (potentially dangerous), C3 (improvement recommended) or FI (further investigation). The report is emailed to you after the visit.
